CD: My Tree House

This is the second of two children’s recordings I did with Barbara Baker. I was trained by Barbara to work with kids doing early childhood development through music and movement. She and I wrote and recorded two compilations that are a big part of the classes we run.

The material is designed to inspire the kids to move and respond to the prompts we give during the songs. These recordings provide a great atmosphere for the development of children’s perceptual motor skills. For the compositions, we used many different styles of music to broaden the children’s musical awareness. There is even a Muddy Waters style blues in there called “My Treehouse”
